Stainless Steel 4 Sided Box Surface Grater

$39.95 USD

This award winning grater combines razor-sharp etched blades with a grooved pattern to allow cooks to grate larger quantities of food with less effort. The non-slip handle and base provide good stability so the grater can easily handle grating large quantities of food.

The grater has five grating surfaces: fine, coarse, ultra-coarse, shaver, and ginger.
The fine grating surface zests lemons and limes in seconds, grates' parmesan and other hard cheeses light and fluffy, finely grates' nuts, nutmeg, and cinnamon for baking and decorating, and puraes garlic instantly.
The coarse grating surface grates chocolate and shreds coconut for baking and decorating, grates vegetables, raw horseradish, hard-boiled eggs, and chilled butter for pastry.
The ultra-coarse grating surface is excellent for soft cheeses such as mozzarella and cheddar.
The shaver produces shavings of chocolate, parmesan and other hard cheeses, and garlic or ginger. And the ginger grating surface perfectly shred fresh ginger root while leaving unwanted fibres behind.

Unlike conventional graters in which the cutting edges are formed by punching holes through stainless steel or tin, this grater's tiny razor-like edges are created with a photo-etching process in which holes are dissolved with a chemical, leaving edges that finely shave or slice the food instead of tearing or shredding. A repeated groove pattern is spread evenly across the face of the grating surface, reducing resistance and thereby making grating effortless and lengthening each individual blade, so each blade has a greater cutting surface that comes in contact with food, thereby producing more gratings per stroke. Combined, these features provide outstanding grating performance.
