The Durance design is unparalleled in elegance. It features a squared table top only covered with calissons encrusted in weaving, and edged with a fine border. The decoration is placed on the drop of the tablecloth, starting with a large floral frieze. A border separates it from a band of calissons larger than those of the plateau, then two more lines follow each other. The last strip of cloth is dotted with new, very tight little calissons. Everything is fine and delicate, because the Jacquard weave highlights the patterns without significant contrast. These are ideal tablecloths for special occasions.
