The Laguiole Essentiel is André Verdier at its most authentic — and its most extraordinary. Six steak knives crafted 100% in France at their factory in Celles-sur-Durolle, each one hand finished and hand engraved following the ancestral traditions of the Laguiole region. This is the origin of their historical know-how, and still the finest expression of it.

Each knife features a hardened X46Cr13 stainless steel blade — 2.5mm thick and 23cm long — with a satin finish and a choice of plain or serrated edge. Assembled with three rivets and a solid stainless steel bolster onto a beautiful wooden handle, with six different assorted woods across the set, each one unique. The famous Laguiole bee embellishes the bolster of every knife, decorated and hand engraved in true Laguiole tradition.
