Four illustrated porcelain espresso cups with matching saucers from Vista Alegre's Escape Goat collection, designed by Helena Ribeiro and Hugo Mezen and made in Portugal. Each cup has its own artwork, so the set brings four different designs to the table: XLI, XXX, XXXII, and XXII.

Escape Goat began in March 2020, during lockdown. Journalist Ana Margarida de Carvalho challenged 46 authors to write 46 chapters of a digital book, and 46 visual artists illustrated them, all in 46 days. Those illustrations now decorate this collection of Vista Alegre porcelain coffee cups. With imagination, humor, and sensitivity, the stories and drawings look into our world, suddenly turned upside down, and with this goat Vista Alegre hopes to kick sadness to the curb and awaken joy, inside and outside our windows.
