The Laguiole Essentiel is André Verdier at its most authentic: six steak knives made in France, each hand finished and hand engraved following the traditions of the Laguiole region. It is the origin of their historical know-how, and still the finest expression of it.

Each knife features a hardened X46Cr13 stainless steel blade, about 0.1" thick and 9" long, with a satin finish and your choice of plain or serrated edge. A solid stainless steel bolster and three rivets hold the blade to a beautiful assorted wooden handle. The set has six different woods, each one unique. The famous Laguiole bee embellishes the bolster of every knife, decorated and hand engraved in true Laguiole tradition.
