Steel cutting, grinding, polishing, assembly… the key steps in manufacturing a Claude Dozorme stamped product have not changed for over a century.

The Laguiole steak knife will be perfect for setting up beautiful harmonious and elegant tables.

The Laguiole knife, famous for its curved shape and for the bee that adorns the bolster in the extension of the spring, is native to the small village of Laguiole, in Aveyron.

The Laguiole Steak Knife has a very high quality steel blade X50CrMoV15, which gives the knife an excellent cutting edge, a very good wire holding and an easy resharpening of the blades. The smooth blade makes it easy to cut the meat without tearing it.

Laguiole table knives are entirely made in the workshops of the Claude Dozorme cutlery, in Thiers, the French capital of cutlery. Behind each knife, there is the manual and artisanal work of a skilled craftsman.

The blade of this Laguiole knife goes to the end of the handle, which guarantees it an extreme solidity.

The blade is made of X50CrMoV15 steel, it consists of:

- 0.50 carbon, which gives the blade an excellent cutting edge and a clean cut,

- 0,15 of chromium, for stainless steel,

- 1% molybdenum and vanadium, which gives flexibility to the blade and thus allows easy re-resharpening

presented in a beautiful wood-box, Made in France
