Artichoke presents entirely new utilitarian and decorative models. The DNA of Bordallo Pinheiro is present in meticulous attention to detail, both in the shaping of forms and texture, and in manual painting of the most faithfully naturalistic style. It coexists with the rustic white, in a versatile and contemporary set, allowing a very original mix and match.

Today the factory takes Pinheiro's original style into the 21st century with satirical portraits of modern day celebrities, while continuing its old fashioned, made by hand tradition of Portuguese pottery making.
